I tried out an acoustic with the Buzz Feiten system on it last fall. It really does sound nice. There's no BS about it. It's definitely worth the price of the set-up.

The suggested retail price for an electric is on their site, though I think everyone charges a little different price. I don't know how the price for an acoustic differs.

I have a Washburn Idol66 that has it and it really is damn cool.

PS: i would read the webpage after your comments.

The Feiten system uses your guitar's own dimensions,(that are specific to it),to adjust the scale length so that the guitar responds better to temper tuning.
Basically speaking.
