Did you tune down to Eb for this one? I may be interested in throwing my imitation Lynch solo in there.

Nope, it's standard E tuning, aint that cool? Pleeeeaaaazzzzz thrown in a solo... it's a beggin' for one. My version of the solo is weak, but heck if I keep drinking I might throw one in for Samp;G's
Happy 4th, bro. I got's me Queensryche/Priest on tap for tomorrow nite!!
Here ya go, Matt!

Thanx, Stevo
Dat was da bomb!!!!
Thanks for doing that 'fer me. Let me guess.... VHII Loaded Homocidal Black Widow strat? That tone sounds like it's about to blast off into space.
Especially liked the two-hands portion (I presume at least) - NIICE
I'm inspired now, I'm gonna take a crack at it.

Thanx, Matt.
Nah, for that guitar I HAD to use the Kami!!
100% Miracle Man on that bad boy!

Here's my solo, fellas.
Played using my Screamin' Demon-loaded Jackson Dinky. The one signed by the Lynch man himself... It plays much faster after he signed it.

That was one kick ass solo!

Thanks RGS. I appreciate the boost. I recorded the solo about 8 times, and chose my favorite. There was a bum note in there that I punched to fix. I let any other bummer just remain. But, using the TO rule of thumb... less than an hour.
Hey, I'm wondering what rhythm tone sounds better. The main rhythms before the solo were recorded using a JB-loaded Jackson Soloist. The riff right after the solo (the out-tro) was recorded with the Demon.
Any preferences?
Thanks
-Matt
I prefered the rhythm tone right after the solo myself.
My only complaint with that solo is the tapping part got a bit chopped up (out of sync). Rest was sweet
Matt, that solo was great!
I think yours was truer to the orginal than mine.
standard E tuning you said? all mine are tuned to E flat..but my buddy's crappy ibanez is standard E...maybe I'll slap something together tonight...with my magic PC mic of course..lol

Yup, you got that right. Two handed tapping - definitely an area I need to work on.
After listening it over, I'm sorta partial to that rhythm tone also. Thanks.

Or if you're in a real pinch, just move all your licks up a fret.

I was gonna suggest lowering the clip by a 1/2 step
Yours is awesome as well JammerMatt, you've got an awesome tone there! Did you use the Flextone to record it? That's the tone I've been looking for
