Any of you JB neck fans?
I forgot the best reason for the JB in the neck. Phil Keaggy has a Zion Radicaster that has 2 JB's that can be series, parallel, or split. It is an extremely versatile guitar, and I think he uses it to this day.

i like the jb in the neck of the right guitar.
i had a rhodes v with a jb in the neck and distortion in the bridge. loved that setup, one of the best combos for distorted tones.
great thick soloing tone
I am a huge JB HATER but, it isnt half bad in the neck position!!!!
You hear that JeffB, ErikH, and Sune!!!!!!!!!!
Thats about the only time in my opinion that it dosent belong in the bottom of a trash can!!!!
I think I might try a JB in the neck now you mention that jeremy. I like thick soloing tones, just not too thick. I like the soloing tone to be 'sharp' enough to cut through the rhythm tone.
