all of the floyd equipped guitars i've seen are 25.5 scale, would there be a problem with intonation making them 24 3/4 or 25 scale ?

Some Les Pauls have Floyds. Jackson also used to make short scale guitars with Floyds. It really has nothing to do whatsoever with the scale.

Pierre is on the money. The 2nd guitar from the right is 24.75quot; scale and has, as you can see, a Floyd so does my fusion and there are no problems

I think the first Floyd was actually mounted on a LP so that alone might make it ok.
