Hello,
I have an 85 Baretta that has an old JB in it. It sounds nice, but I want something else in there, either a custom or 59. The pickup sits at an angle to the Floyd Rose bridge (pic included). Does it matter if I get trem spaced or regular spaced? It doesn't look like anything lines up under the strings.
Thanks in advance!
-MarkThat looks like the perfect application for a quot;railsquot; pup. Unfortunately, there's only one in a full-size 'bucker . . . the Dimebucker.
I believe it's slanted so that at least 1 pole peice will be under each of the E strings, so you should probably go with a standard spaced humbucker.

you have to go with a standard spaced hum...not a trem spaced. the reason the PU is on an angle is to line the regular spaced poles up with the strings. if you put a trem spaced PU in there the poles will not line up and sit out past the strings.

Yup, go with the standard spacing. They made them like that at the time, 'cuz the F-spacing wasn't available. It looked cool at the time, though! Thanks, Eddie!
Regular spaced it is! Thank you all for your input.
