so im bidding on this amp on ebay, the auction ends today. the auction ends at 4:22. I have a doctors appointment at 4:15. How bad does that suck! and its like an hour away, so i just have to hope my max bid stays on top and wait till like 6, at least, to check and see if i won! argh! :dammit:
Well, that does kind of suck, but just set your max bid high enough so that it will overtake everyone else's bids! You might still get lucky.
Out of curiosity, what amp is it?
That's life man..I can understand your frustration though..Or else tell the doctor you need a new appointment hehe.. ;-)
yeah thats wat im shootin for.. i hope i dont get screwed over
haha yeah... i could do that... but thast too much work. id have to like find his phone number and all that crap. im not up to doin that much work.
The thing I hate when biding is that sometimes, in the last couple of minutes, the owner of the item raises the price. At least I tried that on the german ebay.
o thats gay.. but this has no reserve. hopefully he doesnt change it. if he does ill report him lol
yeah, for your sake I hope he doesn't do that, because it ****ing sucks and it's cheating..imagine you bid 300$ or something, and he bids on his own thing or whatever, and then the next bid have to be like 500$.
Which amp is it that you're bidding on?
im bidding on a carvin vintage 33.. dont u start biddin on that now lol that would not be cool

what are you talking about, obviously you have no idea how ebay works. A seller is blocked from making ANY changes on the auction in the last 12 hours, no revisions, they can't even remove the listing if they wanted to. The reason it goes up drastically at the end is because that's when everyone bids.
Well, your max bid is your max bid for a reason, if you lose that's because you weren't willing to pay that amount in the first place

Well maybe, but then how can the price change in the last part of the auction, when no one bid over me? It must have been the owner raising the price.
they've bidded up to, but not over, your max bid?
nice i got it. weird, while i was gone noone bidded on it. i got the amp for 390 including shipping. damn shipping is 45 bucks. still not bad.*edit* time to update the signature

They probably met your bid or something. But trust me, I'm a powerseller on ebay, once an item has bids at all or less than 12 hours on the auction, the seller can't change anything about it, they are locked out from anything like that. They only thing that raises the price is other bidders.
It's just not possible for the seller to do that.
it could be possible if maybe the seller makes another ebay acount and bids high on it... or am i wrong?
