Does anyone have any experience with this pedal? I've almost made up my mind that I'm going to get one, would just like to hear any thoughts.

I think it's going to be one of the pedals on my board that I use very little. I want it for more out and out synth sounds. Are the Killers big in America? Because it's that sort of cheesey stuff that I want to do with this pedal.
So any thoughts please, much appreciated.

The killers are just sort of catching on in America as far as mainstream goes. I dont have any experience with that pedal personally, but the bassist in my band has played through one and says it quot;gets the job done.quot;

I didn't like it at all, esp at its price. Very thin sounding with horrible tracking, I understand it is a freak sound device, but I found it really off. I think the Line 6 has a decent synth box and the BOSS ME 50 has a spectacular ring mod that is 3D, tracks well yet still sounds extremely old school.

i had one of the original EH rack mount ones...made freaky sci-fi sounds...and the tracking was ok if you played cleanly, picked every note, and only played single notes..

I think if I did get one I'd put in nearly the front of my line, before all clipping boxes. Probably after compressoin and EQ though. Are there any universally aknowledged rules about where this sort of pedal should go? I'm not even sure what group it qwould be in. Pitch Shifting? Or maybe synth stuff is a sub-division all of it's own.

it would prolly go right after a compressor...or perhaps split the guitar signal, and have it come out a separate amp. with modern guitar synths this is the best thing to do.
