i liek the tele with the block inlays
I was actually going to post something on that guitar weeks ago, but didn't. I like it.
I wish it were alder instead of ash though.
That all-black Strat would look good next to my all-white Strat

It looks like it could be more black- it has chrome hardware...how about *black* hardware on a 'none more black' model?
strats.. meh.
LP I like that blue one, real nice finish.
that guitar needs full black hardware

Yep, it even needs black pickguard screws. The only silver should be the pole pieces and the frets .
hehe, yea.
the only things showing should be the pole pieces and the frets, along with a glow in the dark headstock logo and the numbers on the knobs hehe
get black oxid pole pieces it would be even more black
I was trying to figure out why the black one gets a lsr roller nut and the blue one does'nt.
If Fender does many more 'Limited editionsquot; people are going to start writing to them asking when they're going to do a mail order civil war chess set.
They're getting as bad as the Bradley Exchange.

Recently, almost all Fenders in the HSS configuration get the LSR nut, while most of the SSS guitars get a plastic nut. The LSR is almost a deal breaker for me, because I hate metal frictionless nuts. It's gotta be plastic or bone, and you can't change the metal ones out. It's just a tone thing with me, because guitars with both ends of the string contacting metal changes the tone for the worse IMO.
On my blue strat, the body is from a Strat Plus, which came with the old style metal nut. I actually bought another Fender, swapped necks, and got rid of the LSR neck on the new body, just so I could have my rare colored body with a neck that has a plastic nut! That's how much it bothered me!

Dang - I love my LSR. I can't stand plastic tuners, nuts, etc. Tuners especially. Cheap, plastic quot;vintagequot; (bah!) tuners on a $1,000 Les Paul - I never understood that. Give me metal! The nut makes more sense, since it affects tone.

-Mike 1 ditto man that guitar smokes
they only took the spinal tap reference halfway there..
how about a complimentary strap with a dodgy wireless unit?
still, i do like both guitars.. the BBB has a nice body, howabout all-gold hardware?
and 1 to making the none-more-black strat.. well.. none-more-black?
tom
yea.. that black strat has just too much crome on it
i say.. a dimebucker bridge, cool rails and hot rails.. so all there's showing on the strat is the frets and rails. everything else, BLACK!
