With actual tube amps? I'm looking really seriously at investing in a tube-powered pedal and, being geeky as I am, I want to know what I might be able to do to change the tone if I wish, specifically by changing tubes.

Yes, you can change toe voice and/or gain of a tube driven OD pedal by swapping tubes.

Shibby...anyone have info on the tonal differences between tubes? Or a link maybe?
