Got my Board populated ready to go ! It's a metroamps MV50watt board going
into a 50watt Pro-tube 50 Laney. Metro gives intructions for installing it into a 100watt Marshall ? And the Laney trannies are color coded different. The Filter caps and fuse holders are different aswell. So I'm kinda lost I've got a post with pics on the Metro board, But that board moves at a snails pace. Anyone here wanna take a look? Here's a link to my post.
My Post on Metroamps Thanks in advance for any help.
email me. ill help ya.

Thanks Germ, I figured it out. And pretty much on my OWN ! People
rave about how great the tech support at Metroamps is? IT SUX !!!! I emailed
george with some questions. He only responded to about every other email with a Question not a answer! Now I understand he has to ask question's to know whats going on, But eventuly you should get a anwser. RIGHT ? Couldn't get a hold of him by phone, And the MORON'S on is forum board gave me the wrong info. My Kit arrived missing a 820 ohm resistor ( got a 8.2k instead)
and a extra 100k but short a 10k resistor. (He did get the missing parts to me pretty fast) The kit came with instructions to only a 2203 curcuit. This is where the fun began ! This is where I had to educate Myself. I made it VERY
CLEAR ! this kit was going into a 50 watt Laney. Posted pics of the Laney PCB. Now, A Crash Course In Rectifier's .A Marshall 2203 circuit use's
a FULL WAVE BRIDGE RECTIFIER. The 2204, A HALF WAVE RECITIFIER. My
Laney Use's a FULL WAVE DIODE RECTIFIER. Regardless of what curcuit board
you install? You have to use the rectifier curcuit YOUR PT IS DESIGNED FOR!
RANT OVER ! The Amp is up and running Sounds pretty good Just have
a few bugs to work out. Like a faint squealing in the low channel. I'm gonna
touch up my solder joints see if that fixes it. If you have any other Idea's what would cause a high pitch squeal in the low channel? Please do Chime in.Thanks
