Hi Everyone, i have a Jackson Guitar quot;Says quot;Professionalquot; on the head, 24 frets, H/S/H, Floyd Rose quot;Takeuchiquot; Japanese the original that brought the guitar but... I can't find any resource to find the specifications of the wood ( On the plaque that unit the Mastil with the body there's a serial ) the body is like a PS-4 model for me, and behind the head nothing there.
I have to say that the wood is too much quot;darkyquot; i was installed a quot;Paf Proquot; amp; quot;Tone Zonequot; and the sound is very opque specially the first one is very dull, i was played today with a RGT-42FM of mahogany wood with the same mics and there is the difference very bright!!.

See The Inside Of Your Les Paul
Saw this over at the LPF, and thought some of you might be interested. If you have a non-historic Les Paul built in the last 10-12 yrs or so, your guitar looks like this underneath.
Sorry, i can't see anything, but it sounds interesting - whatever it might be!

WCR Fillmore/Crossroads double cream
Fillmore bridge and Crossroads neck in double cream (no covers). These are great pickups. I have more of the same for my other guitars, but I sold the guitar these were in and have nothing that goes with double cream right now.

Removing cover
I have seen that to remove the cover of a bucker you can use a dremel to saw the welding, but is there other way to it when you don't have a dremel?

SH-11 Custom Custom = Custom 5 = Custom
I have an EXCELLENT condition Custom Custom in WHITE with Standard Spacing I swapped the magnet from a 59 model so the pickup is actually a CUSTOM 5
If you want a slightly more aggressive tone I can put the Ceramic magnet from a Custom in there to make it a SH-5 Custom

Lil' '59 w/ too much sizzle?
A while ago I picked up a used Lil '59 (Tele bridge) pickup on Ebay and finally got around to dropping it in my Reverend Hitman (Tele custom pickup setup). The pickup sounds fairly full but a little too brittle than what it should, and when I crank the gain it sounds like it has too much sizzle, almost annoyingly distorted. Could be the previous owner messed with the magnets polarity? The windings appear in good shape and untampered with. All the pots and switches are clean and okay. I know what a great sounding pickup this normally is having owned two of them prior. Any ideas? Thanks - 'Vid Sutton

spin-a-split variation help
Hi. I'm wondering about a variation of the spin-a-split diagram. Let's say I have a H/S/H configuration (5 coils), 2 volume knobs, 1 master tone, and a standard 5-way switch. Would it be possible to have 1 volume for 3 coils (for example: inside bridge, middle, inside neck), and 1 volume for the other 2 coils (in this case: the outside coils of both humbuckers)? I am trying to extend the spin-a-split idea to both humbuckers, with volume control over both coils of each, and with minimal knobs. I am actually not yet sure which coils I would like to assign each volume, so advice on this would also be helpful. Thank you!

WTB P-90s
Does anyone have an SD Vintage Soapbar or Antiquity P-90 for sale? I'm looking for the Bridge model of either one, in any color cover. I am also interested in Lollar, Gibson or Fralin P-90s. Thanks!
