Hi Everyone, i have a Jackson Guitar quot;Says quot;Professionalquot; on the head, 24 frets, H/S/H, Floyd Rose quot;Takeuchiquot; Japanese the original that brought the guitar but... I can't find any resource to find the specifications of the wood ( On the plaque that unit the Mastil with the body there's a serial ) the body is like a PS-4 model for me, and behind the head nothing there.
I have to say that the wood is too much quot;darkyquot; i was installed a quot;Paf Proquot; amp; quot;Tone Zonequot; and the sound is very opque specially the first one is very dull, i was played today with a RGT-42FM of mahogany wood with the same mics and there is the difference very bright!!.
Anyone knows about what kind of wood is made this guitar? The Body and Freetboard, some photos here:

Poplar or Basswood Body (depending on exact year, but this oe is post-Jackson USA Pickups-era, so likely basswood... but there were always a few oddballs in the other wood as well), Maple Veneer top, Maple Neck, Rosewood fretboard.
*Edit* It´s almost certainly a ´97 DX-2, that would make it about a 98% chance of basswood
HOT finish!
(No, you did not search for the term 'hot')
