Hows it hangin'?
Looking for ID... Its a 24 fret bolt neck, reverse says quot;Jacksonquot; and Professional....Abolone shark fins, has a number 2 stamped at the last fret. Non bound neck. Has a chrome and black neck plate that says Jackson and 403498 as a serial number Body has 2 hums with no rings, mounts direct like a wolfgang 1 volume 1 tone 3 way switch and a floyd rose by Jackson. Has one double blade hum and a hum with one row of screws and 1 row of slugs...they both say jackson. Anyone know what it is, year anything? What about that 2 on the last fret space? Thanks for all the help...peace.i think thats a PS series, like a PS4 or something (not sure about the number).

I have a PS4 but I'm not sure whether the quot;professionalquot; series went under the same title. Mine is supposed to be a quot;performerquot; series guitar.

For the record I've never seen a Performer series Jackson with Sharkfins ... the closest I've seen to this was the Japanese Reverse Dinky Professional a few years back. Can't remember the name for the life of my but the end was 3R ...

Granted that model came with brushed silver hardware and Duncan Designed ... so I think my guess is not 100% on

I can´t see the pics, I´ll get back to this after work

Thanks!

Oh yea you guys are right, i mixed up performer and pro sorry.

Ok the model I was think about was the DR3 ... which is similar but not the right guitar I think ... Zerb knows a hell of a lot more than I about Jacksons. The 2 on the fretboard threw me a little ... factory 2nd maybe?

Nope. quot;PSquot; Stands for quot;Performer Seriesquot; (or Piece of Sh!t), the professionals are much higher quality.

What we have here is a quot;Jackson Professional Dinky Reversequot;, Pre quot;Number Seriesquot; (Nearly Identical to a DR-3, btw. Pickups are the biggest difference). the quot;2quot; means it was a factory second, which is rare for Jackson (but not impossible)....

Inlays are Mother Of Toilet Seat, not Real MOP or Abalone.

Should go for well under 500 bucks w/case, is minimum of 12 years old, the Trem is a POS IMO, pickups are OK.....
