New tune, mastered amp; every-ting!
If u hit the back link, all 4 tunes at the bottom are newly mastered as of 5/30/05. They are all full length song clips.

i can see that you decided to keep the funky vocals in laughin'....its all good, im sure it shall grow on me...!
i dig the new tune! it gives me almost a sppoky vibe, with the vocal performance and the distorted guitar. i can tell that this album is going to be a more distorted album, which is cool. i dig the solo a lot, durring the beginning of the song, i kept thinking, this song needs a spooky esk solo, and there it was! very cool!
i like the panned backup vocal a lot, very cool. works well...the only thing i can tihnk of that might sound cool is if you used that funky vocal thing that you used in laughin...dont know how it would sound, just sounds like a cool idea...
only think i dont love about the song is the end...personally, i would have loved to hear s crapload of feedback to end the song instead of the sudden ending...
but tis all good....another killer song!

Very nice track. I would personally have a bit less echo on the drums and unless I'm loosing it a real drum kit would be nice if you could get some for future tracks. I like the different lyric harmony thing you put in very cool. What kit do you use to record with? I agree with xerxes about the end as well. I love that slow distorted slidingness brilliant track dude keep up the good work.
oooo, thanx ABP! I hear ya about the drums. I used Reason to do the drums. This was the one tune out of the 4 that I just got mastered, that really gave me trouble with the mix. I did soak the drums a lot, i guess, trying to get them to sound like a big echo-y room.
I like the ending you doods are suggesting too. I'll have to look into that.

Ye I see where you're coming from xerxes it just seemed a little too sort of artificial for my taste. Real drums in a big echo-y room would be quality IMHO.

The amp is my Mark IV (on tweed pwr). Guitar is my seafoam warmoth hybrid disaster. Pickup is a bridge Duncan Distortion flipped so the pole pcs are towards the neck. I don't think I eq'ed the gtrs at all.
All my clips are embedded and I don't think ppl can download them to their HD. Soon, I'd like to throw a song or two on my webpage for mp3 down load. So people can toss them on their iPods yo.

I finally got around to listening to everything on the site. My studio PC is now fixed so I can actually hear it. First, I REALLY dig your material dude. From Yankee fan to Yankee fan that stuff kicked ass! I shot a video of my 3 year old daughter dancing to quot;She's only sayin'quot;- she loved that one. Your singing is really great, similar to Eddie Vetter (sp?). I love the guitar sounds you are getting man. Here are more specifics-
quot;In My Shoesquot; - this one really reminds me of something that could have been on Steve Vai's quot;Flexiblequot; record without all of the over playing. The guitars sounds really raw and live. Great song and great vocal performance. Loved it.
quot;Myself'- I f-ing LOVE the clean guitar sounds on this one!!! I have never really had much interest in owning a Fender amp UNTIL i heard this.... Just a great overall production. Great vibe, great song, great wacky stuff, etc...

Nope I really did save it to my hard disk the whole track. It's high quality stuff as well appears to be 320kbps.
