is there a pedal out there that will let me record a loop, but that's cheap?I'm not looking for any other added functionality, I just want to be able to record one loop and play it back. I know boss and line 6 make loop pedals, but they have way more features than I need.

Installed Pearly Gates Set in my LP
I'm sure this has been commented on before, but I just installed an RS kit and a Pearly Gates set into my quot;81 Les Paul Standard. Have Mercy, tonight was my first chance to evaluate them and I just love the neck pickup, it's the best neck HB I have used. The bridge is a bit treble forward so I back it off a bit where necessary with the tone control. Yes, I actually use the tone control now. They make a real nice set and compliment each other quite well.

Orange drops, are they even worth it?
I was talking with someone today about caps. He was saying orange drops are overrated, that guitars don't really produce enough voltage and these caps don't make much of a dynamic change in tone. An amp yes, but not a guitar. What's your take, is it all just quot;vintagequot; hype or can you REALLY hear a difference?

Line 6 stuff sounded great this weekend!
I saw 4 bands this weekend..... ZZTop was one that i saw Friday at a Casino in Ontario Canada.... and the other 3 were Canadian acts on the Saturday called Goddo, Kim Mitchell and David Wilcox ...all 3 Canadian acts playing the same stage at a big bar.... The guy in the Goddo band used a Line 6 amp and had hands down the best sound of all 4 bands this weekend. The other guys had bigger more expensive gear and the guy with the LINE 6 amp sounded really really really Great!!!! Which is odd for me to say as i do not like the Line 6 stuff too much.... but i think i had better look more into it. I have no idea what model of amp this guy had but it was a small line 6 amp maybe a single 1x12.

Help me decide a high output pickup for my Les Paul copy. Please :)
Hi, i recently bought a solid Les Paul copy with a solid Mahogony body and a rosewood fretboard. Basically the stock pickups (Wilkinson) aren't bad but they just aren't quot;metalquot; enough. I need advice on choosing a new bridge humbucker.
