This is what I am thinking:

I am selling my Marshall JCM 800 head. It is model 2210 and is 100 watts. It is in awesome condition (minor dings in the tolex) This is one amazing sounding amp...the only reason i am selling it is because i only play acoustic now and i dont have a need for a big half stack.

I got my Ibanez back from the guitar shop today. I had a Super Distortion and a Super 2 installed: all I can say is holy crap. That is the 70's classic heavy metal tone. Without even tweaking my amp or my eq pedal, I had the Ace Frehley tone I was looking for. Not to mention, that Ace plays a Les Paul, and my Ibanez is a thinner body, bolt neck, no maple top, etc. that couldn't be more different than a Paul. That's one pickup that won't be getting sent back!

In anyone's opinion, does Duncan make a pickup that sounds like the Dimarzio Super Distortion Humbucker? I grew up with these pickups and loved them as they get all the tones from most 70s type rock, but I refuse to buy Dimarzio stuff (for my own reasons).

KILLER tone us 5y3, RCA 7025, Commie 6v6. MINT for its age. Replaced cord with extra long 3 pronger. Oxford speaker. 325 plus shipping in the continetal US only. Ill eat the paypal fees at my price.

Just bought an old-school fretless p...she's been treating me right. The only thing is the original pickups are little tame for my Warwick Thumb ears. I am looking for suggestions, advice, and any words of wisdom that anyone has on the matter.

Okay! Here are the pics that I promised The color isn't exactly right in the picutres, at least in my monitor the guitar is too red...it's more brownish in real life.
Tried to take some pics of the neck as greendy(if i remember right) asked for that.

It says in the description that it has quot;a custom designed pickup built by Seymour himselfquot; and quot;special wiringquot;. Anybody know what's different about the pickup and wiring in this guitar?
