Got few pedals for last few days. All I have to is run patch cables. I am excited!
I was ridiculed by brow for having a too big pedalboard Not any more!Holy sh*t! Nice choices there. You should give me your thoughts on the Fireball and the Fat Boost once you get some time with 'em under your belt.

Need help with a few tuning issues
I just got in my RI '60 Gibson Les Paul Special DC today. The only thing I dislike about the guitar are the tuners... they are horrible. When I tune up or down, I hear the string quot;kinkquot;. I've heard this with older tuners that were worn, but not on a new instrument.

Reducing ohms on 1 meg pot by increments of 25, 50,100 HOW?
I know its possible to connect resistors or a resistor to your volume or tone pot to reduce its ohm readin. I have a BBQ pickup from Rio grande. I bought a couple of 1 meg pots from Torres as the BBQ needs the higher headroom or openness from the 1 meg but not 1 megs worth. My figures of multiplying the pickups k reading of 13.5 x 40 = 540 ohm pot is what I need. All the so called 500k pots I find are more like 450 or 480 on my ohm meter.

Three HB's
What happens when you put three humbuckers in a guitar and turn them all on at once. Can all they all be in-phase with each other, or will you be mixing an out of phase tone in there?

Nickel C5 trembucker for sale, 2 months old
I have a 9/10 cosmetic nickel covered C5 for sale. Everything works great and it looks great but has a smudge smaller than half the size of a dime on the bottom left where your hand rests. It may be something cleaner will take care of? it has all the original lead and was proffesionally installed by a luthier and has the proper shrink wrap on the tips. Sounds great but I prefer the BBQ in my goldtop

Let's see your pedalboards
I believe it's been a while since we've had a thread like this, so some may have had some changes on their boards (I know I have). It's a good way to share experiences, if you've been wondering about a pedal and see someone owns it, you can ask their opinion.

John Paul Jones
The previous Led Zep post made me want to post this. In all of my readings about Zep and all the interviews etc etc I really have never got to know much about JPJ. I never have heard anything about him doing the drugs the rest of the guys were doing back in the day.

humbucker suggestions? please
hey guys..
i am the proud owner of a completely stock 04 or 05 american deluxe strat. i love everything about it but the pickups. they dont accurately reproduce what im playing and dont quite sound like a humbucker or a single coil. the s-1 switch is a cool concept but only muddies up the pickups more. im a big fan of ZZ Top and SRV which would be my first two tones to go for but i would mostly be playing those type tunes on my neck pickup.i also dabble in gnr and early metallica type stuff so i would need something that can do old school chug in the bridge. im interested in a HSS setup and so far ive decided im going to go with a tapped quarter pounder in the neck but other than that im a little clueless. maybe another QP middle? im thinking of installing an emg variable mid control to replace the bridge tone control (which i never use) to be able to sweep the frequencies..almost a modern/vintage control. anyone know of a nice low to medium output humbucker which could fit my needs?

Dean '79 reissue V...thoughts?
I've been gassing for a white Flying V for awhile now and Gibson/Epiphone's recent business practices have forced me to consider alternatives as all the local dealers are giving up on Gibson.
