I'm in the mood to customize an amp head....I'm wondering where I'd be able to find orange tolex?

Im trying to get an old Kramer. The one I was going for got snatched up. Ive read per the vintagekramer website that pickups for some of the Focus models were made by . Can someone confirm this? If this is true, were these normal Duncans or were they along the Duncan Designed variety? This would definately make a difference to me! Thank you!

I just thought I'd do a little disclaimer about those often overlooked FRENCH brands. Vigier already has somewhat of a reputation but Lag and Whale offer some great guitars for very decent price in France. Has anyone got any? Has anyone played any? Go have a look at their websites:

I would like to mod my epi les paul studio and change the pickups to Duncan '59 with 4-conductor
I was wondering do i need long shaft pots for all volume and tone controls.

i like the overdrive sound i have but when i go to play leads it doesnt really have any sustain. my rhythm sound is ... very light-light overdrive so i get a nice punchy attack and a quick decay so each chord is nicely definded. and when i play fast its right in your face. think intro to quot;black shuckquot; the darkness, quot;american idiotquot; green day.

Well im new here, been lurking for awhile, time to ask somequestions....

Well i am seriously g.a.ssing over strats lately, and my gilmour obession isn't helping, i think i am gonna dish out cash for a strat sometime in the next couple a months, i want a strat that will give me thick enough tone for zeppelin, but i mostly want it for pink floyd type stuff.
There is a couple a strats in at my local shop, there's a Aerodyne one, which seems like a nice guitar, haven't had a chance to play it yet, but i am gonna, there is also a daphne blue strat(not sure on mdel, didnt look) it really caught my eye, but i am leaning more towards the aerodyne, cause its all black with white binding, i was thinking to change the knobs and pickups to white, it would look absolutly amazing, any comments on the aerodyne strats???

I am a design to finish guy myself but do all of the others to.

In a couple months when I get some cash in my hands I plan on building a project strat. I'm just wondering how much I'll be spending doing this and if it wouldn't be cheaper to just buy a used strat on ebay. My specs would be...mexican body, vintage trem, SSL-1 pickups, warmoth neck.

I'm makin' these posts simple. Whats the cheapest solution to GOOD Marshall tone. The DSL 60 watt head looks pretty promising. Anything cheaper that is as good or better than that?
