Extension Cabinets
I want to put a 2*12 (can't find the times sign on my keyboard) cab under my amp. It's a 3*10 and could do with a bit more power and omph! IMO. My only concern however is entirely superficial and cosmetic. Any 2*12 cab is wider than my amp and I think it looks a bit silly, like an upside-down T. I was thinking if I build it myself I could put one speaker above the other and build the cab to the same width as my amp. Will this make any tonal differences to the traditional 'next-to' design of most cabs?

what is quot;true bypass?quot;
When people say, quot;this OD box is true bypassquot;, or quot;this wah is true bypassquot; what are they talking about?

Having trouble keeping my LP in tune.
My Les Paul is probably my favorite guitar to play but it seems to give me the most trouble with staying in tune. I restring and wrap the strings on my guitars the same way at the tuning pegs, and I stretch out the strings the same way too. But for some reason it seems like the G and B strings keep fighting me. They not only go flat on me but sharp as well within minutes of playing sometimes. I use a .010/.052 set and top wrap them around the tail piece. I also trust the tech that I take it to, seeing how he's a Les Paul fiend (has 14 of them) and I've never had a problem with my other guitars that he's set up for me. The frets are in good shape and the intonation is right on. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thank you.

Can Anyone Do Basic Electrical Work?
I'm willing to pay someone to make this simple circut for me since I'm not sure if I can do it or not. I'm in a woodshop class and want to make a small portable amp that runs on 9volt and has a little speaker in it. I found this schematicand this article on how to do it I'm just not clear on some things.

Guitar polish
I've been using the same inexpensive guitar polish for ages. I think it's made by Martin, but I've used it so long I haven't read the label in years.
