I've got a 7.4k APH-1 if anyone would like to trade me. and get a cooler, brighter tone. If I can't find any takers, I might just try to add a few winds to mine.

OK I have the Tweed Bassman 4X10 and Tweed Deluxe I built. I just scored a Traynor YBA-1 from the early 70's. All three are one trick ponies, but very good at that trick. I am looking for a modern amp with good cleans, great crunch and that singing violin/cello lead tone.

I need some recommendations on air compressors. I am painting guitars at my home so I don’t need industrial compressors. I would like recommendations on the least I can get away with and mid range compressors or just tell me the one that I need to get.

Hey guys. I'm looking to get my hands on a good OD pedal that can I use to hopefully get a more compressed/brighter tone as well as a more heavy/full rhythem. I can get a good hard rock tone right now, but I'm looking to touch base on a Dream Theater type tone somewhat. Is an OD pedal not the way to go? If it doesn't apply to what I want, then I still atleast need one for the clean channel for bluesuer stuff as well as to push the second crunch channel.

I just purchased a brand new sg special and the pickups leave a bit to be desired. I've never replaced pickups before, but I was wondering what set would match up nicely with the guitar. I play alot of heavy distortion saturated stuff at the bridge and i need the neck to be warm a smooth both clean and dirty....any suggestions? i'm thinking distortion or dime in the bridge and jazz or pearly gates in the neck...

i recently bought a kent armstrong pickup(#m215k) with an extremely high output.my thinking was that the more output the better (for shred and HEAVY metal) after reading all these posts in different forums,i dont know if this was a correct way of thinking.i'm in even worse shape since i do'nt know if its a alnico or ceramic magnet.thats what you get for not doing research,i guess.
