I was just talking about this with Youngpup, and thought I'd mention it here. I've never seen an SHS guitar, but it opens up a couple of interesting possibilities. Choose something like a Stag Mag, or perhaps something beefier, like a Distortion (neck), for the middle. With proper, simple, 5-way wiring, you could split to either coil in the #2 and #4 positions so that you could have hum-cancelling chime without worrying about RW/RP, or magnet flipping, or any of that. But in the #3 position, you'ld have a nice phat humbucker tone.

Amp problem
Well i connected my peice o crap rp100 pedal to my Behringer GX212's SLAVE IN so i could bypass the pre and see how it would sound, but i dont have any volume control with the master. The SLAVE IN is stereo and i dont have a y-splitter cable. Could this be the problem? i tried left and right inputs. The rp100 sounded better though btw
The amp is working perfectly besides this

Help
Is there an easy solution to getting cleaner richer tap harmonics? Will a treble booster or a mid boost push the notes to clean bell like quality?

Neck crack?
I picked up a Classic white SG Standard from Music 123, blemished (65% off $647). It looks as though the neck might be cracked (I tried to get a pic but white is tough to photograph), or a deep scratch in to the neck wood. It stays in tune, and if I tug on the peg head it seems to be stable. These white ones were exclusive to Music 123 and there were alot of problems with the paint, many returns, this morning they no longer are offering them.
