I am getting a Hamer Dutone which has regular humbuckers (Duncan 59's) plus piezios. I need an amp to make the piezios sound good. I am thinking about an acoustic amp, a pa system or just a powered monitor. I am looking for something for playing at home and small clubs. The 59's will be run through my 64 Fender Deluxe. I play blues. I am planning on getting one of Duncan's new Papa Bear processors as well. Give me some advice.

I looks like I am going to need a new telecaster neck pickup.

Im looking for a nice 212 or 412 cab to go with my Traynor YBA-1 I just picked up. It must have nice speakers and be a nice build. ANyone with any possiblieies, please drop me a line. I just sold my cab 2 weeks ago and gas struck again so I need a cab again. Im thinking avatar may be my best place to go but I decided to check here and see what everyone wanted to unload first.

I think that this is a pretty simple task but just wanted to check with you guys to make sure it's done correctly. I have an invader (bridge), hot rails (neck) and a single push/pull pot (DPDT). I want to use this pot as a volume control for both pups and a switch between the two. In the down position the bridge pup is activated and up activates the neck pup. Would I run the black wire of the bridge pup to the bottom lug of the switch and the neck to the top lug? Then connect the common contact of the switch to an outer lug of the potentiometer? Somthing like the figure below?

Hey guys... what do Explorers and flying Vs sound like? I mean everybody is talking about the sound of Strats, Teles and LPs, but nobody ever mentions those two models...

Hey guys, I am really looking into getting a high gain amp. My problem is though is that I don't need 100W or even 50W. At the most, I would need 30W.

So last night around one in the morning, I come home from hanging out with my friends and REALLY feel like sitting down with my guitar and my notebooks full of song ideas and writing something. I turn on the power to my amp, plug in the pedal and my Warmoth, go grab a tall glass of water, then go back to my room and flick the standby switch. With the volume at TWO, the amp blasts staticy feedback at full volume and doesn't stop unless I turn the amp off.

does anyone know if filtertron pickups whould sound good in a solidbody, ive only seen them in hollowbodys and really love the sound, and im curious to put them in my sg
