First truss rod adjustment! I've been playing for 4 months but I'm totally broke so I decided I should go for it myself. I grabbed a lot advise, notably on this board (you know who you guys are) and I went for it. Proper screwdriver, a quarter turn loosening it, tuning, let it rest half an hour...
I picked it up and all buzz when played open is gone! After the last set up there was some buzzing on the open G string but even that is gone now. There still is very little when I fret after the 12th fret and going up, but it's negligible.

Can I put in 2 volume knobs (one for each humbucker) and then in the 3rd hole put a 2-way toggle switch to select between pickups...

I just took the stock pickups out of my Tex-Mex Tele Special and found that the bridge pickup, unlike what I had expected, does not have a baseplate attatched to its underside. I thought that was a big part of what makes a Tele bridge pickup a Tele bridge pickup...I knew this pickup model was overwound and tended to lean towards P90 territory, but I always assumed that it was contructed about like any other Tele pickup.

Well, lately I've been coming up with a lot of stuff on my acoustic, and I'm looking for a soundhole pickup to use for recording. Problem is, I can't decide between the SA-1 Acoustic Tube and the Woody XL. They're close to the same price, but which do you think would be better for my application? I'm kind of leaning towards the Acoustic Tube, because I think the onboard volume control would be handy.

dimarzio recommend a 250k vol pot with a 1 meg tone pot. isn't it similar to a 500k vol and tone pot?

I was considering for my next guitar either getting a 7 string or another normal guitar.
