What tool/tools do you need to route a guitar body? My friend is letting me hack up his Squire. I've been using a chisel and mallet, but I was wondering if there was a power tool out there that's more suitable.

Diagrams available for split buckers, humcancel w/both
So, had to do this for myself anyway and I thought I'd share my diagrams - Dimarzio amp; Duncan humbuckers, how to wire VTT or VVT, with a split switch so that you get humcanceling wen you select both pickups. Tried that tonight with the FRED PAF Pro, very nice.

Single coils and Humbuckers for Clapton Tone
Since I'll be getting a new strat soon and I currently have a guitar with a humbucker in it and maybe by summer will have an Epiphone Dot, I was wondering which pickups I should put into both if I want to get a tone kind of like Clapton's.

Behringer head
I have a Crate GT212 amp. It's a 120 watts and has 2 12's. I'm wanting to upgrade to a half stack. I'm wanting something with a good bang for your buck. I saw a Behringer V- Ampire LX1200H head. It sounds like its a good head. I read reviews on it and people say it'll sound like a Marshall, Mesa, and Fender. And it's only $200 on Musicians Friend. I'm wanting to know if it would be a good head to get or not. And if anybody has any other suggestions for a head, please do tell.

Does youth=playing fast?
Just listened to Biu playing quot;Spanish Flyquot; and that got me wondering. When I hear him as well as some of the younger players at my local music store play I just can't believe how FAST some of these guys can pick! Is it because they're young and their hand and arm muscles are more limber compared to someone like me who's not only older, but who did'nt even start playing guitar until he was 43? I know speed is not everything but no matter how long I practice I just cannot get past a certain point with my picking hand. My fretting hand (left hand) can fly with the best of them, but my right hand just cannot keep up. And I've tried holding my right hand/arm everyway imaginable. Think youth has anything to do with it?

Amps for sale, attempt number 2! Peavey Delta Blues, Traynor Bassmaster!
These are amazing amps but I'm ordering an amp from our own Scott F and have to let these go to help finance it! I've got a Peavey Delta Blues in black tolex that I am selling. Great condition. Has some scuffing on the side where there used to be a spray painted logo that was removed. The handle is also coming undone a little but is still functionally perfect. Works very nicely. $315 shipping
