I just finished re-wiring my strat so it's capable of being run with neck and bridge in position 4, and with the 50's wiring mod.

I've posted this on a few different forums and thought there's some useful info and pics here.

What's the diff between these two? I know the shape is different! Beyond the shape is there a real tonal difference? Scale lengths are the same. Mahogany body.

anybody know anything about these?

Can someone explain me what modes are and how to use them in solos. I need an in-depth explaination, but it has to be easy for me to understand. Most of the time when I see explainations there too hard for me to understand.

Being in auto body/painting shops for years I always thought its a must to use high quality automotive paint for a good guitar finish....I was wrong.

Anyone tried one? Or owned one? How's the tone compared to the one 12 or two 12 version? Thanks! Lew
