I finally got a chance to give my guitar a good workout through my amp at gigging levels last night. It's the first try of my Twangbanger in anger. My God, I should've bought fitted 1 of these eons ago!! Full, sparkling satisfying tone!! It's THE only single coil for the bridge of a Strat. IMO of course. Thyanks to all the guys on here that helped me come the the decision to get 1. You rock, and now, so do I!!!

I have a epiphone alleykat.Its a semi-hollowbody.I want to put APH-1 alnico II pro in the bridge.Any advice on what to put in the neck.It's a mini bucker.I want a very sweet sounding blues tone.Or a good Texas blues tone.Any advice is well appreciated.

I was wondering if any one heard about or has used fenders custum shop '60s pickups and if so are they any good?

I'm gonna get a big ass chunk of mahogany and carve out a body. I'm gonna try to remove as little wood as possible, so it'll be a Fender style hardtail and a bridge pickup wired straight to the output jack (no control cavity).

I have a super II which is has like 9 treble, 6 mid, and 4 bass. It's in the neck of my strat. I was testing the height of the pickup and didn't really notice any increased muddiness when I increased height. Do you guys think this would probably due to high value of treble in this pickup? This pickup also have very high output.

Is it normal on maple neck/FB guitars, that the neck/fb be integrated.
