About to ship my first one.

Which type of wire do you use when connecting pots, switches, ground, etc. ...and why?
Solid copper, Stranded copper, stranded tinned copper, or other?

Guys....I Love my Vox Valvetronix head and I normally run it through it's matching Vox AD 2X12 cab...This cab has the Neo-Dog quot;Neodyiumquot; Celestion speakers in a closed back cab...

I am trying to save up for another guitar. I want another Gibson ( I already have a Les Paul ). I just got a second job so maybe I'll be able to afford one before too long. I think I want an Explorer or Flying V. Has anyone ever had either of these guitars ? What do you like / dislike about them ? What's the current thinking about them ? Which would you choose if you had to be stuck on a dessert island with one ( and a power supply and an amp ) ?

Here's quick tip for finding cable to use as pickup leads. I had an old PC keyboard with a black cable. Since the connector had many pins, I knew there had to be many wires inside. I cut open the cable and found 4 covered wires(red, white,green, yellow), a bare ground wrap, and a foil around the whole bunch. I rewired a few pickups with it and it works great. Pass it on.

Trying to decide between one of these for my second guitar. Can't play either one, I know that's a cardinal sin, but living in Podunk USA doesn't give me an opportunity to play anything but Fender, Gibson, and ESP within 2 hours drive. I have bought other gear over the net without having to return any of it due to digging up clips, reviews, and opinions from guys like you. I currently have a Vox Valvetronix 30watt and an Ibanez SZ with Dimarzio (sorry, that's what was in it when i bought it). And I have ordered a Traynor YCV 50Blue. Wanting the single cut look, also considering Fernandes Ravelle. I'm not much of a single coil guy, the strats I've played just don't do it for me.

my search for a new amp now is between all of the fenders around the 800 or 900 dollar range (give or take a hundred or so). which fenders have you played, and which do you like? at the shop near me there are the deluxe reverbs, twin reverbs, super reverbs (all reissues). also the tweed versions of some of these (i think at least the twin reverb). also the vibrolux reissue. so far the one i played most is the twin reverb and i like it alot. what are some pros and cons people have found of this one?

I'm trying to get this song down for an upcoming performance down the road and I'm just curious to see how others play it, mainly the intro/outro. It seems like everyone puts their own little spin on it, which is cool
