Hello everyone,
I need some help in a decision. I want to get a multi effects for all my modulation effects, but don't know which one or where to even start. I don't want loads of amp modellers and I've got O/D and distortion boxes I'm happy with. Stuff like delay, echo and reverb I'm still unsure about. Do multi effects pull these off?

I put a Antiquity I in the Tele neck position and a Antiquity II surfer (RW/RP) in the middle postion. I have a SD JD in the bridge position. Apparently, the ANTQ. I and the Surfer are out of phase with each other so my technician reversed the wiring for ANTQ I. The sound is great but whenever my fingertips brush or touch the chrome covered neck pickup I get a somewhat strong hum until I take my finger off. I have already shielded all cavities and the pickguard. Any ideas from anybody?
I might try re-installing the fender vintage noiseless in the neck position unless it too is out of phase.

i have an ibanez jetking that i had just purchased, but i want to replace the stock pickups with some nice seymour's. i'm not that educated in pickups, and im wondering what would be a good model to choose? i play hard metal type stuff.. but also with clean riffs too. any feedback would be greatly appretiated

Hey guy's... yep yet another slash fan trying to be like him haha. I was told he uses the Marshall JCM 2555 Silver Jubelee or SL, and trying to get his sound i naturally wanted it. But will never be willing to shell out that kinda money for an amp when i just play at home 99% of the time. I just need like a 15-20 W amp.
My Question is: is there a cheaper / weaker version of the JCM 2555 with like 20W er somthing going to spend like 375 hopefully. thanks.

well, instead of spending a grand on an original, i figured it'd be more practical to get a modeler that i can plug into one of my silverfaces

What do you think of this combo I was considering? I have a Fender Highway 1 Strat w/rosewood fretboard that I put GraphTech saddles on. I play through a Mesa DC5 combo (single 12quot;), and a Mesa 2-12quot; extension cab.

After I get most of my guitar stuff up and rolling due to the fact I originally wanted to play bass but got started on guitar first. Plus bassists are always in demand unlike guitarists who I hate to say it, in the world of metal can be a dime a dozen. Yet if I do learn bass, I hope I can try and play with my fingers instead of a pick. I thought a good beginner bass would be either a Ibanez Iceman because I liked the tone my friend had with it, a Fender P-bass standard, or a OLP Musicman.
