Gosh, I am being absent minded these days.... anyway, my band is called Engeo (as in, the phonetic of NGO - Non Government Organisation) and we play largely acoustic indie alt-rock, but we have been recording heavier stuff too.

Yo,wassup dudes,I'm new here and i could do with some of ur help.
I'm about to go and change one of pickups and i've never done it before,i'm pretty sure i know what to do but could anyone just tell me how to do it or post a link or somfin'? First of all i thought there where meant to be like 4 wires but this one just has one big fat one so where does it go?

I have a Gibson Firebird Pickup that I like alot, but the high E string, is weak. I keep wanting to adjust the pole piece, but of course I can't. Can a Firebird pickup be made with adjustable pickups? I would guess that the Duncan custom shop could make one, but would the tone still be the same? Thanks, Rusty.
