anybody have any extra CTS pots laying around?

I know that some hybrid amps out there right now may be decent with the pre-amp tubes and ss power amp. But I was wondering if there were any amps out there that are the reverse where it power amp tubes and ss pre-amp. This would let you crank the volume to get power tube distortion. I bet these amps would sound pretty good compared to tube amps, at least better than current hybrids I know of from marshall and vox.

I'm really happy with the way this guitar turned out. The new finish on the neck is much harder now than it was in the first couple of weeks after I applied it. Going ~back~ to 1500 grit from steel wool actually made it faster. The steel wool made it too smooth, so smooth that it actually was sticky due to suction or whatever it is. Giving it a setup and filing the high frets made it playable, but the phat cat is really what does it for me in the end. It's just a great pickup, whether or not it sounds like a true P90.looks cool

so i am thinking about getting one of these amps.
of course i have to listen to it first.

Anybody know if there's a website where people share their patch settings for Boss GT-8's (like the sites for POD's)?

Yep, it's the 80s GAS again. I just tried and rewire my model 4 and now OH GOD do I wish I had a guitar with just one little measly humbucker. Of course it'd be wired to get pretty much all possibilities. But they're always cool as hell.
Suggest cool guitars with this? Doesn't need to be very expensive, but I'd like to see anything you can throw. Next guitar I buy hopefully will be like this.
