Anyone else using this pedal? I think it's great! I can use it as a drive to make my Ecstasy's red channel sound like a raging Ubershall and as a good distortion for the times I have only acces to a SS amp. I love how it adds low end thump!

Mids ALL THE WAY
I've been experimenting a lot with mid settings. My bass and treble usually stay at the same level, and I use the mids to add or substract warmth, especially when going from clean to OD. I noticed that with the mids all the way UP, you get a HEAVY sound. Maybe mids drive an amp harder, maybe it's just the fact of having more frequencies boosted, but it kills.

hi world i'm new and i have a question.
Hi, you guys can call me quot;DDquot;. Anyways, I will be receiving a new guitar soon. It's going to be an RGT42DXFM. Mahogany body w/ maple top, neck-thru construction (according to site: 5 pc. maple/walnut neck with rosewood fingerboard). Oh and it has an H-H configuration. I'm obsessed with the Live Wire: Heavy Metal tone but I don't want to route a cavity in my guitar! Examples of tone from what I listen to: Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Evergrey, Killswitch Engage, Judas Priest, Dream Theater, In Flames, Soilwork, and... lah dee dah!!

Help with getting great action guitar
So I am basically a strat guy. I once had a Yamaha RGX-211, an OK guitar with a fantastic neck. Floyd, so never went out of tune, and the action was truly great. Almost like playing a machine, rather than a guitar.

Speaker power ratings??
I've got a couple of questions about speakers:
1. How does the power rating for speakers work? You're supposed to get the same or a higher rating than your amp right?

The Truth About Tube Screamers
So, in the past few years I've become slightly obsessed with Tube Screamers and the minor (but sometimes major) variations on them. They're legendary pedals but I tend to find alot of information about them is typically a little off, and often embellished or fudged for the sake of making a sale.
