What would be the best 2x12 cabs to go with my Hot Rod Deluxe?
I love the tone of my amp. and I'd like to had a cab. to make it sound even better. Blues, rock, hard rock and funky rock. What do you suggest?

does someone have a clue of what distortion does he use??? effects???

Between those type of tube witch one do you favor , and why , to play metal in a high gain amp ?
For exemple the little i know is EL 34 tend to be centered on mids with agressive highs , 6L6 have big but loose bottom end and relaxed highs , 6550 have big bottom end but more percusive and lot of headroom but sound colder because don't distort early , and KT88 i don't know .

I'm looking to trade the Custom in my LP for a JB. The Custom is black w/ logo and is only a few months old. It's in good shape, no scratches or rust and plenty of lead wire left on it. Anyone ever use one of these? I was thinking about replacing my normal hardtail bridge with one of these, and was curious if the locking screws protruded through the baseplate.
good question since i'm contemplating using the trem version of that bridge on a new strat project i am working on but i can't decide....anyone ever try one of these either hardtail or trem?

I have searched the forum here regarding tapping and there is a subject that i need some help with regarding tapping. See i have been playing about ten years and have always been more of a speed picker than legato man and i want to remedy this. i have found some good tapping excersises but there is one aspect that i am struggling with here. How do you keep adjacent strings from ringing out when you, cross to other strings say like maybe high E to B and like b to G and so on? Also i have the trouble of when i move my tapping hand up or down it makes a bit of noise. You know when i move to tapp a different note it makes noise on the strings i am trying to mute i can hear the palm of my hand scrapping the strings i am trying to mute, but if i lift my hand the strings ring with sympathetic vibrations.
also there is a tapping excercise that i am working on that i (On the B string) tap #12 and pull off to #8 then #5 then hammer on to #8, next you hammer on from nowhere to #5 on the G string then back to the 8th fret on the B string, pull off to #5 on that string and then hammer on to the 8th fret, and then repeat. I have the trouble of when i cross back over to the B string from the G string hammer on from nowhere to the 8th fret i have trouble kepping the G string from ringing out when i make this move. Looking for more of a sound quality and ease of use comparison more than differences in number of delay types/times, etc. I am currently considering one of the two, as I'd like a nice versatile programmable delay pedal.

Do you guys think a 1x12 cab with a marshall head combination would work? Cause I'm thinking about getting a head, so I could just get a half stack, when I'm ready to perform. But for now I can use the 1x12 for just practicing.
