I heard the ampeg had some quality issues, now this is getting to be a real pain! I'm just looking for a tube amp that has a great clean loud tone w/ reverb for under 1000. 50 watts and up is fine. Why is it so hard to find a good clean amp these days!!!???

FT: American Fat Strat (maple/maple, Sienna Burst)
I never thought I'd get rid of one of my best looking guitars to date, but here she goes. I believe it was made in 2003, and everything is stock except for the strings and the bridge is wired to the bottom tone control rather than the middle pickup. The pictures make the red look kind of bright red, but it's a little darker in real life.I would like to trade this for something that has a flatter radius, and a thinner neck wouldn't hurt. Something with a hardtail or Floyd preferred, but I'd consider a vintage trem as well. I prefer ebony and maple, but I'd consider rosewood or any other fretboards depending on the guitar. Has to have a humbucker in the bridge. Either 22 or 24 frets is fine, but 21 isn't enough. I would also accept trades for amps (I would include cash where needed). I would prefer something with at least 2 independent channels, and it needs to be capable of high gain. I want nothing to do with a solid state Crate, but a Knucklehead Reverb would suit me great (rhyme skills, what up?).

Help me choose a new SC-sized bridge humbucker for my Deluxe Strat
I own an Ibanez Universe which is equipped with DiMarzio Blaze IIs, it has been my main guitar for years and I enjoy it very much.

Alnico neck swap to bridge
I have an Alnico 2 pro in the neck position of my Strat Plus. Are there any problems with dropping it into the bridge position?

Band in a box seems pretty cool
just got my copy over the weekend and its pretty damm cool. what i like best is that after creating a song or simple progression to jam to you can set it to either randomize the key every time it cycles throught the song (or a chorus of the song) or set it to increment a set amount of steps each time it cycles. as im trying to learn basic scales i find this very helpfull as i think we all have a tendency to learn comfort positions (A and E come to mind) which im sure is limiting. anyway does anybody else have any experience using this product? it seems like for practicing scales or chord progressions it might be a very useful tool.

One of the most amazing guitars I've ever seen
Just so much amazing detail here, and some very cool innovations and ideas. Absolutely jaw dropping IMO.
