1) Set of Chrome Grover tuners. Chrome buttons. These are the kind that are made as replacement for Gibson style guitars. Only installed on one guitar one time. I installed them briefly on my Epiphone SG. Now i'm selling the SG. I would trade these for a set of nice strat-style tuners for my Reverend guitar. If you're interested in them otherwise, you can make an offer.

Refinishing a Custom Shop Melody Maker
Now before ya#8217;ll freak out, I would NEVER attempt to refinish a guitar that was in great shape. This poor instrument however, was #8220;refinished#8221; by some previous idjit with what appears to be sandpaper amp; spray-paint. Why? Who knows#8230;but I found it for next to nothing and it was so abused that I had to give it a new amp; loving home. Thankfully the previous owner only screwed up the body, the finish on the neck amp; headstock is intact. The original Tune-O-Matic was lost along the way and replaced with some pot-metal junk and it#8217;s missing a tuner, no biggie there. It still has the pat # pickup (chrome bucker!) and the serial number is 81526537#8230;any ideas on how amp; where I could date it and come up with a year?

Kill Computer Related Recording Noise . . .
A while ago I was plagued with a really noisy setup, and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I checked every cable I use, tested all of my pedals, checked my pickup wiring, and was contemplating trying some sort of custom sheilding inside my guitar . . . . eventually I figured out that my guitar was only noisy when the computer was turned on, so I was trying to find a way to put distance between my guitar, amp, and computer (not easy when trying to use my computer to record) thinking that the fans or chips were causing some sort of EM interference. Well, the other day I had a little flash of insight.
It turns out that the cheap power supply on my computer is really dirty, constantly spiking and dipping . . . so I moved it to a different wall outlet than my guitar amp. SILENCE!! Hopefully, if there is anyone else out there with the same problem, they'll read this and be able to quiet their amp down too.

Is there such a thing?
I need a pedal which drops my amps volume when I turn it on, but keeps the gain at the same level.
Basically an overall volume drop.

There goes my GAS again
I'd still be more likely to jump on one of those Bigsby-equipped Turquoise Artcores, but man this is a cool one:

Reverse Demon mod to a Custom
Recently I swapped out the hex pole pieces in the demon in my Godin and it made it an absolutley beautiful pup like I've read about from so many others.Today I wondered what it would do if I put them in the Custom of my Strat.I wouldnt mind a little more scream to it,but I wonder it if would be too much.I realize they'd be going in a coil closer to the bridge than in the demon.I'm sure I'm not the first to think of it,has anyone here tried it out?
