Well, the project is completed, and I am a very happy camper. This guitar turned out better than I'd hoped when I first started flirting with the idea. It's exactly what I want out of a strat-style guitar.

The black lead on the slug coil broke when I tried to solder the cable lead to it!

Has anyone changed a nut on a Les Paul? I have done most kinds of repairs/mods but have never done anything that requires removing/replacing things that are epoxied directly to the body or neck.

i'm about to install some pups but ones a duncan and ones a dimarzio, so what is the difference in the wiring, as ive heard it caused a problem for some people?

What are the advantages of putting the wah before your distortion versus wah after your modulation effects (in my case, the RV3)?

After using solid states for ever, i am thinking of trying a tube amp, but i would need it to have these features:

stopped in the local used guitar dealer and they had a Jackson 4x12.
I didnt have time to try it and it must have just come in cuz it had no Price tag. It had like the black metal grill type and had 4 red speakers.
