hey fellas... fellow forum member GuitarToad was wondering how the twangbanger pickup sounded for distortion and overdrive......so i threw together a quick clip in 15 minutes, just to show how the TB sounds. Thought it might be good to post for the rest of the forum to hear

I am use to playing somthing similar to a LP or single cut away. What guitar would be inbetween this, and something a tid bit more metally?

Anyone ever use or using one?

Title says it all.. Rock , metal blues.. I have a C5 and all the magnets to morph it. Not sure what to try.

OK, I've heard about these muffler things that you put near to the nut and it allows you to play very cleanly. Basically, it's a way to cheat and makes sweeping, etc much easier.

I'm a huge fan of the Yes Album 90125.... Something special on that album for my ears. Trevor Rabins huge space-ish tones on that album rock!!!! He is a great player.. I've never heard much off Big Generator, the album after 90125... But 90125 is one of the few YES albums i can say i really really like!

My next investment will probably be a new amp...a Marshall Bluesbreaker RI. My rig now: Telecaster --gt; JH1 Wahwah --gt; TS-808 --gt; Marshall AVT100.

I talked via email to Brian there Saturday for a price on a PRS Tremonti SE. Quoted me a deal, lowest I have found anywhere, and comes with set up and replacing the 9's with 10's. I ordered from MF and M123 before, but you don't get the setup, etc.....I'm in Missouri, so no chance to visit them, but I did go to my local dealer Saturday and even though I have bought from them in the past, they weren't even interested in ordering one (had none in stock). They kept telling me about the Santana's they've had there for a solid year.
