I am use to playing somthing similar to a LP or single cut away. What guitar would be inbetween this, and something a tid bit more metally?
Define quot;a bit more Metallyquot;.. to me this is quot;a bit more metallyquot;
Eh Zerb, what's 'A lot more metally' to you?
Get a Kramer Focus whatever or a Charvel Model whatever. They're cheap and kick mucho-ass

if you are after a Les Paul feel but in search of something different, do check out Ibanez's SZ series. it's nothing 'metal' in looks but it delivers metal competently; i'm using mine for black metal stuff... amp; fusion

There's also the artist 300 which is more of a paul and less a super strat.

True to that. My SZ can do soft rock, jazz, and the most extreme sides of metal. I would say that or the ESP/LTD Eclipse/EC-400 or EC-1000 models. They're like LPs but definitely more quot;metal,quot; and they have great playability too.
The ESP MH series still retains the archtop while getting some quot;metalquot; from the pickup and the superstrat shape, but they are incredibly comfortable to play. If you're not totally into the EMGs you could pick up an H-400 with duncans and they're also extremely nice guitars.
from : localhost/my experience, pretty nice guitars. Obvious nods to the LP shape, but with a nice twist.
dont forget about schecters
another LP? IMHO LP is metal. well, its also rock, blues yadda yadda.. but its metal allright.
what specific features are u looking for? neck shape, sound, weight, neck joint style ?
what about on of those FMT tele's? dual humbuckers and pretty close in sound to an LP
More metally than this?
Thanks for all the replys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, those are some super metal guitars!!!!!!

May I ask why it screams ESP to you? lol I don't get that vibe at all!

Yeah. ESP guitars to me mean sleak looking versions of gibson and superstrat designs.
