Is it possible to install an EVH D-Tuna (tunes E down to D w/ a twist) on an Ibanez Edge Tremolo III?

The D-tuna website says specifically for Floyd Rose and Floyd Rose licencsed guitars, so I'm not quite sure if I can or not.

Thanks!

( I think I finally figured out the tuning thing, so thanks for that too! )

What kind of edge is it? I'm not familiar with them, but if it's a model without the locking screws running under the fine tuners, then it won't work. Furthermore a D tuna would only work if the trem is blocked somehow, or else it'd throw all the other strings out of tune too.

1, although you can also use a Hipshot tremsetter instead of blocking the trem

What can this thing NOT do
I must admit it's a nifty thing. It'd make life easier. If only we didn't have to drill a hole

Guitar World had a great answer to this question several issues ago. WIth the Edge Pro II you cannot.
