the guy that sold me my dual rectifier wasn't the first owner and does not know the exact year it was made (i was told mid-90's).
just because i don't feel like waiting until tomorrow to call mesa and ask them, does anyone know of a way to determine the age of the amp based on it's serial number? the number is R-005633

I haven`t heard of any way to decipher the serial # to date made when it comes to Mesa amps. Best bet is to call Mesa.
