Hey all.

How does this mixed speaker combo sound in a 2x12 cab. I really like the G12H30 in a 1x12 combo at the moment and the Vintage 30 had it`s moments in the past.

Do you tune down a step or half step? SRV tuned down a 1/2 to Eflat, is that right? and EVH tuned down to D?

Whatever problem I was having with the Cool Rails mixed with my Distortion, is now a moot point. I put it in the bridge of my Strat-o-clone, where it belongs, and it sounds great!

I believe this is an SH2 Jazz Neck and SH-4 JB Bridge and I am trying to get something a bit more aggressive/mean/heavy sounding but still have some range/versatility than what came standard on my EpiLP.

im starting to check out some songs by larry carlton and the jazz crusaders, what's a good more jazz-core and less smooth jazzish song by them? Say, a song from their late 60's era?

Lately i have been having a problem with my amp, as it gives off a lot of hiss hum and feedback. I have been looking into trying to do something to get rid of it, but i dont know what to do. Right now i am putting my carvin through a marshall avt 50 and i normally put tons of gain on the channels.
