They called today to get payment on the remainder. $950 total on sale. Not bad at all.

I am going to change the pickups in a Gibson semi-hollow, and the neck pickup will probably be a SD 59. When doing this change I wonder if it will be ok to go for the four counductor option, and to install a mini-toggle so I can split for single coil mode? Someone who has tried the 59 split? If so; is it worth the extra work and the hole that must be drilled?

I have this Highway 1 Strat, it has a really nice MIM standard neck on it, but everything else is highway including PUPS etc.

What do you guys think of the String Saver graphite saddles?

Hey guys...I just added another wah to my ever growing fleet, an old Morley PWA (black). I was wondering if anyone knew of some quot;standardquot; type mods for these. I've seen/know a lot of the Dunlop and Vox mods, but I don't think I've ever come across anything for Morleys.

... about EMG's in a Strat. I have heard many a glowing review, and a couple negative ones. I understand that active pickups aren't for everyone, but I am wondering if maybe they are right for my Number One Strat, which is overdue for a pickup change. I am a big Gilmour fan, so if they're good enough for him they're probably good enough for me

I am still in the midst of experimenting to determine how I prefer my strat set up. A few weeks ago I put two more trem springs in (to make 5) and tightened the claw. That produced greater sustain and a brighter tone.
