As I stated in a post a few days ago, I got a Hammond Organ amp on Ebay. It sounds cool, but I have some questions that hopefully someone can answer:
Here is the amp and the side panel, which has a lot of terminals - are any of these going to (can I make them) do anything without an organ attached?For clarification, the first panel reads: quot;PEDAL CUTOFFquot; quot;KEY SWquot; quot;DECAY SWquot; quot;SUS SWquot; quot;PEDAL INquot;

Simple question. Which of those two tubes gives a tighter bottom end distortion sound?

I've heard some good things about this pedal but what types of tones does it give off? Anyone have any personal experiences with it?

Just getting into guitar electronics and wanted to know what type/awg of shielded wire to buy for using on ground connections to pots,jacks etc.. What uses does 2 conductor wire have over single conductor etc..
Is there a particular brand/parts no. thats superior to others???

I'm getting a McCarty, and while I think the stock pups are excellent, I am toying with idea of some Duncans...

I have cleaned up my Start pickup circuitry and have shielded and commonly grounded everything to each other eg. bridge(strings) Tone1 Tone2 5-way-switch master volume pot. I put humpty back together again and played - very nice.

I'm takin' that damn boogie name plate off of the grill, amp; it ain't goin' back on unless an endorsment w/ free flow comes my way.

I`m thinking of getting rid of my Mesa Single Rectifier and picking up one of these amps. I heard samples of both and they both sound good. I just wanted to get some input on what others think. I play at home, no gigs or concerts for me. The Mesa is becoming a single tone to my ears and I wanted to get a more versitle amp that is not to expensive.
