I was thinking about getting a dimebucker. What do you all think about them? Are they good for lead and crunching out on some cords.

FS Ibanez RG1527
I've been back and forth for a while about this one. But I just don't play it all that often as I'm really getting away from Floyded guitars. Here we have a 2002 Ibanez RG1527 7-string in Cosmic Blue, with hardshell Ibanez case and all the tags/candy. For specs: from : localhost/The color looks more like a sparkle purple but a very cool color either way. It is EXTREMELY clean. It has never left the house and has been taken care of just about as well as I can and still play it. It has a little scuff mark on the cavity cover and a tiny nick about the size of a pin head on the top back edge of the body . I tried to get a picture of the nick, but it didn't come out so welll. The picture makes it look bigger than it is because the flash is reflected off of it.

Bright Tone Woods?
I am putting together a parts-o-caster and I am using a maple neck with buckers...They will be lower output (7.7k, 9k-ish) and planned on using a mahogany body...Since mahoganys grain isnt too pretty, and I planned on leaving the guitar see through finish or unfinished, I was thinking about swamp ash...will it be a lot brighter than mahogany? what would be another good alternative?? -Will

Which P-90 for LP bridge
Hi All,
I'm trying to decide which P-90 to put in the bridge of my Les Paul. I've been using a Vintage neck and a Hot Neck in the bridge position. It's been working ok but I'm getting tired of the quot;chain sawquot; tone when I use a lot of gain. So I'm thinking either a Hot Bridge or the Custom Bridge. I'd like to get a smoother, less harsh, maybe even a little darker sound. Any suggestions?

Mesa Boogie Preamps: Studio VS Quad
Alrighty, well I've had the Studio and Quad preamps for about a month and in that time, I've been able to get more familiar with the tones that are inside these sweet units. I know that from time to time, there are folks that are curious about how these two compare so I thought I'd throw out an example of how I've been using them and describe the similarities/differences. The STUDIO sections are in BLUE and the QUAD sections are in RED

Mesa Boogie
What's the classic Mesa Boogie sound? Gibbons? Santana? who represents/records with Mesa's? What distiquishes Mesa from Fender and Marshall?
