I watched Joe Walsh play on the Clapton dvd.
What type of minihumbucker is he using in that strat?

Humming with may SSL-3
Hi Everybody,
Scenario - I have a Strat with 2 x DimMarzio HS3 PUs at the neck and middle positions - a Stock fender at the bridge. A long time ago I removed the tone controls completely. I do not know if the volume pot is the original and it's label was soldered over long ago so I do not know what resistance it is - 250 or 500 perhaps? (it may even be a tone pot from another guitar...). Anyway it is important to note that ( before the job) the guitar worked great and there are no issues at all.

So carvin's now making multiple fret radii available, I have a choice on my rebuild
In order to appeal to more customers, Carvin is making different fret radii a custom option on their necks which I think is a good idea. I had a CT that I sent back for a rebuild that came to me with a 14quot; radius. 12quot; is now standard on them, and since I sent it in at the same time they were doing the changeover I have a choice. Should I keep the flatter 14quot; or go with a 12quot; on my CT3M? I've found that 12 and 14 are my favorite, any rounder or flatter aren't comfortable for me.

Help me troubleshoot/diagnose this amp problem
A while back I installed a Celestion vintage 30 in my tube combo. It dramatically improved the tone of the amp, especially at high volumes. Anyway, when I installed it I weatherstripped the inside lip of the speaker mount and did the same with the back panel of the amp because it rattled a bit.

Fender/Warmoth partscaster
Fender MIM body, warmoth neck. The neck is a quot;fatbackquot; shape, has 22 SS frets (6105), 1 11/16 nut width, reverse (small) headstock, LSR roller nut, compound (10-16 inch) radius. The body is from a Midnight Wine Red MIM Fender. It has graphtec saddles on an other wise stock tremolo. It has Sperzel keys, countersunk Dunlop Strap locks (I will include the strap half as well), and one American Standard string tree on the low E and A string...the low E rattles behind the nut so I added a string tree. NO pickups, pots, switch, guardplate are included unless you happen to want a W/B/W guardplate for an S/S/S set up. PM me for more details and or questions. I will take just about any decent offer. Also willing to trade depending on what you want to trade. Might part out if you really want the body or neck...let me know. This beast has to go...

The head has been moded with a new transformer, and a Power cut switch that allows it to be run at 25 watts. It's Ed with a Gold Marshall logo and piping. There is not one tear or even a scratch in the tolex. I just had the amp biased and retubed with svetlana El34's and JJ 12 AX7's
Comes with a MArshall Wheeled case. 800.00 FIRM. Pics are available, and I will be glad to answer any questions.
