Anyone every heard of a flat fingerboard?
I gravitate towords large radious flater necks and wonder if there is any reason you cant have a perfectly flat fingerboard? I played classical for years and those fingerboards have to be pretty neat flat..

Played a Jackson... NEED HELP!
Hi guys, so I was at the guitar store today, and I figured what the hell I wanna try a USA Jackson and see what all the fuss is about. I got a salesperson to get me the RR1 Rhoads (Jumbo frets, JB/Jazz pickups, alder body/ebony fretboard), and we plugged it into a Roland Cube 60 on the R-Fier setting.... well..... I started playing the guitar and WOW!!!!

So I Went To Take My Les Paul To The Shop...
I wanted to have a bone nut put on it, maybe have the frets leveled and crowned. 2.5 to 3 week wait.....yikes. I know the place I took it does great work, and busy it busy....but I can't be without my axe for 3 weeks.

Which SD strat single-coil has the best sustain?
In the descriptions, some pickups are claimed to have quot;increased sustainquot;. Either by more coil winds or using A2 magnets. So, which one has the best sustain?

You know the drill
Picked up the last one at Dave's for $2350. I was looking hard for a used one, but they seem to be priced around $1800-$2000 used recently, so after checking around and finding that many dealers are empty and Gibson estimating a 4-6 month back order (WTF??!!) I said WTF and bought it. I already bought an RS rewire kit and pickups will be a Wanger Fillmore bridge and Duncan Seth neck.

Are there any good solid state Marshalls
I love the classic Marshall crunch. But being an at home player only, tubes don't do very well for me. I can get up to more than TV volume, as I live in a house, not an apt, but I can never seem to hit the sweet spot with tubes. I know Marshall SS will not be the same as Marshall tube, but maybe it would be close. I tried the MG and AVT, just as soon keep my Valvetronix, I think the Marshall models on it sound as good. Am I just as well off to keep the modeler? Or maybe there's an older Marshall SS that is decent and I could have both?
