I probably won't get many replies on this since I don't sense much of a country following on this site, but here goes. I was just watching the country music awards and Brad Paisley played a song that had his signature guitar sound through the Dr. Zs, but does anyone know what kind of pups he uses? His sound isn't as twangy as it is compressed to my ear, but it is such a cool sound. Any of you guys know the scoop on Paisley's gear??

hi, it seems to me that not many people have the same brand of tubes throughout the whole of their amps. why is this? what are the advantages/ disadvantages of this?

I have a red Charvel Mod. 2, there was a Humbucker in it.

figured i'd give the used forum market a shot first.
i am gonna be lookin for a sd screaming demon f-spaced zebra with the cream on top. also a jazz neck zebra whith the cream on bottom. pick-ups must be in good shape with plenty of lead and logo'd. if i don't find em in the next few weeks used, i will be sending lew some money for new ones.

I have a few Tele pickups that I would like to get out of my storage drawer. They all look fine as well as work fine. I just don't need them.

I own an Ibanez RGT42 with passive pickups, however I want the Duncan Livewire active 18v humbucker in the bridge. What exactly needs to be done in order for this to work? Does the whole system need to become active, or just the bridge? any help is appreciated. I need to know whether it is worth it or not. THanks
