PRS Singlecut. HUGE in 2006?
By now, most of you have heard that PRS won the appeal against Gibson, and can now resume manufacturing the American and Korean Singlecuts.

24 frets = neck pickup too bright?
i was thinking of getting the duncan set that comes with a jazz and a jb for the guitar im building. im using a carvin neck that has 24 frets and it seems like that might make the jazz really bright and the jb over powering. i was planning on comparing a prs 24 fret vs 22 fret but i sliced up one of my fingers so i though maybe some one might have experience here. thinking about my preferences i might be more in need of a custom (strong highs and mids but not too much bass) for the bridge but im more concerned about an overly bright and weak neck pickup.

My Latest Project...Charvel, well, sort of...(PICS)
Fender body, Charvel model 4 neck, Super D...with a tap for single coil. Kramer bridge.
Now its got an 80s Squier neck....much better![IMG] from : localhost/peacerita68.eaph2.com/share/shannontele/gum1.jpg[/IMGSweet...I´d lose the Kahler nut, though. It´s not serving any purpose except being an extra 2 friction points

BBQ high mid spike like JB?
I dont like the JB high mid spike and was thinking of getting a BBQ . Someone said the BBQ has the same high mid spike as the JB and I dont want that. I have a dual rectifier with a 1994 Gibson LP classic. I am trying to get away from the bandsaw frequencies of this amp. I like the C5, PATB1 pickups but the C5 doesnt have enough mids and the patb1 is a littly boxy and cardboardlike. I like the amount of gain from the patb1 then the C5. The C5 seems a little bright and I could tone thart down with either the patb1 or the BBQ. Just wondering if the BBQ will end my tone search. I am worried about the lack of gain from the BBQ as I like the gain mostly of the patb1. Any thoughts? Thanks

Slo funk
Hey, I love the bass line in this backing. No need to play fast over it or anything like that. It just sings.

different voltage
I 'm planning on buying an amp on ebay but the seller is located in the US... now a friend of mine said that I should look out that it uses the same voltage as where I live. he said that in the US, you have 140volts.... here is Belgium we have 220volts.... so here is the question: is this correct?
