I tried once the X2N and it is areally HOT pup. I have also used the Invader which I came to love after a while. They are both powerfull but I have never managed to try a side-by side comparison. Which one is hotter? Is the Invader a bit darker?

I was just over looking at Warmoths neck and body blanks on there site for custom guitars..... It's almost better to have them do all the machining on there CNC machines... $65 USA for an Alder body blank yet a fully shaped Alder body can be had for double that in the thrift shop.... Mind you it is quality wood and they machine it just right but it aint cheap.... Think i'll make a trip out to a lumber store i know that sells Alder to guitar makers... But it's a 1 1/2 hour drive from here

For instance on the Gibson website, they use tapping instead of splitting on their description. Many people say coil tap instead of split when they talk about disabling a humbucker's coil. Both have similar effects in that they diminish output, but aren't they different processes, working on different types of pickups?
