Fender MIM body, warmoth neck. The neck is a quot;fatbackquot; shape, has 22 SS frets (6105), 1 11/16 nut width, reverse (small) headstock, LSR roller nut, compound (10-16 inch) radius. The body is from a Midnight Wine Red MIM Fender. It has graphtec saddles on an other wise stock tremolo. It has Sperzel keys, countersunk Dunlop Strap locks (I will include the strap half as well), and one American Standard string tree on the low E and A string...the low E rattles behind the nut so I added a string tree. NO pickups, pots, switch, guardplate are included unless you happen to want a W/B/W guardplate for an S/S/S set up. PM me for more details and or questions. I will take just about any decent offer. Also willing to trade depending on what you want to trade.

Wiring question
I'm currently looking for a schematic to wire a push/pull volume pot into my Jazz Bass. It has the usual two passive single coils with two volumes and one tone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Peavy Project Options (Van Halen Related)
I'm working on another MIA Peavey Predator, this time for my little brother. He wants a Frankenstrat copy (the black and white one), basically. It's getting to the point that we're going to have to decide on electronics. We've decided on a Custom Custom for the bridge. He's heard mine, and that's what he wants (He might even get mine, and me get a different one.).

Cover question...
ok.. pickup covers alter the sound of the pickup right? or am i wrong? say i got a pickup with a cover and i remove the cover will it sound just like if i wouldve bought it without the cover? how exactly does the cover alter the pickups sound? i somehow associate pickup covers to slightly less quot;agressivequot; sounding pickups.. tho i never realy could test this theory of mine exept for once i tried a Custom uncovered and a Distortion covered and i stayed with the Custom cuz to me it sounded more quot;agressivequot; somehow.. tho i might have been just the guitar, the amp, the fx and setup or how i wired it or something.. it was for a friend who had this realy shrill and ear pearcing sounding bridge pickup and i had to find him something in like 30 min before he had to go play.. so i couldnt realy test further and they're two diferent sounding pickups anyways..

looking for schematic for Vol. Vol. 3 way?
I have been trying to wire my Gamp;L with out a tone, because I never use it, but I am haveing a hard time getting it right. I can't seem to get the wireing configuration correct to have both pups on or one off and the other on, and have it out of phase too. Would I be better useing one master volume instead of two, and should I leave out the four way Tele switch or put in a LG style.
I got it put back together with just the two volumes, so that I can at least play it again.

Make it sing
All,
Sorry for all the posting. I think I understand what sound I want. I want to be able to play some of the new age sort of quot;lone solo guitarquot; sounds. I was playing along with the singer from Clannad (similar to Enya) and to some other singers, and I think what I'm after is a very singing tone, very beautiful. Therefore, I apologize, but I'll go over stats again: ESP LTD EC100QM guitar (agathis with maple top and rosewood fretboard, dual humbucker). The Sh2/SH4 is tempting because it comes in a set. I want a singing, pure, beautiful tone, and from there I can muddy it up. So, therefore, if your goal was to sound like violinish/singing with solos, what would you pick? I run ME50 multieffects board, so the effects department is fine, and a 1972 fender twin reverb, so the amplification is taken care of. I GREATLY appreciate all who have helped me make decisions on here!
