Well people, i m unsure on which pickup to choose. Firstly my guitar sounded bright on its own. So i fear that having a JB inside would be ice-picky. At the same time another veteran told me that the Custom would be too nasal. Too much mids and recommended the JB. having said that, which of these would be a good pair with the little 59 in the bridge? are there other better alternatives as well?

sg jr, P-90 related
Well, I just bought a SG jr off ebay and it comes witha bridge p90. I was worried because I was going to have to get it to fit a humbucker but all these descriptions of the p90 sounds awesome. When you guys say the P90 is noisy do you mean it is staticy or it has alot of feedback? Someone mentioned the stacked P90, does that fit in a regular p90 routed guitar? also how much noise is reduced with this pup? Is it worth the extra money? I will most likely get a SD P90 because I do not know what kind of p90 mine has so, Another question is how is the bottom end on the P90 does it have a nice thick palm muting because someone said it sounds really nice for punkish type playing and that would be perfect for what I am looking for in a new pup. I also saw the Hot Soap Bar one does anyone have experience with that?
EDIT!!! Ops sorry, yeah its not gibson its an epi!!

small technical question
If you have a 2 humbucker guitar with a 3-way switch, when the switch is in middle position, do you automatically only use the two inner coils? Or do you need to wire them in a special way to get this effect?

Squier Bullet Strat upgrades/changes
I picked up a Squier Bullet Stratocaster to fiddle around with. I wanted practice setting up a guitar, changing hardware, and swapping out pickups. I also liked the design of the guitar, so I figured it would be a good idea. My questions, at this point, are:

Ibanez Soundtank Pedals...any good?
I'm looking at getting a chorus pedal, and funds are pretty tight. I'm watching an Ibanez Soundtank Chorus, which ends in a couple of hours. Anybody use them and are they any good? I'm looking to team a chorus with the Line 6 Echo Park pedal when Santa calls this year, and put them in the FX loop of my Marshall.
Any and all comments greatly received.

Let's talk 'bout the Vetta II
Hey guys, I think I'm really going to be looking towards the Line 6 Vetta II, and not a tube amp. I just play so many different styles of music, and also this way I really don't have top worry about tubes going out on me. I use a Roland VGA 3 which is also a modeling amp and I'd say is of a higher quality than the Spider II. I know Michael Romeo of Symphony X uses a Vetta II and so does the guitarist of Ill Nino, and they can get some pretty sweet tones, and I never even knew that they were using Vetta II's when i first started listening to their stuff.
